From Green Cove Springs customers

“Shane and TruLight are an amazing company. Absolutely love the lights. Came out and had them installed in one day on the front of my house. And then later had them installed on my back patio. Looks great. Lights up my whole driveway and front yard and back yard and can dim them so its not obnoxious for my neighbors. Definitely recommend TruLight and Shane to anyone thinking about getting lights.”

Coverage and cost

Choose the roofline you want to light

On a two-story home like the one above, a front-only plan keeps the gables, the lower roofline and the garage front lit without committing to the full perimeter on day one. The back patio can be added later.

Front of House

The entry, garage and the peaks you see from the street. The most common starting point.

Front + Sides

Adds the side returns so the lighting wraps the corners instead of stopping at them.

Full House

The whole perimeter, including the back patio and any detached roofline you want lit.

Measured footage, roof height, mounting surfaces and equipment access set the final scope. We also confirm track finish, power, controller placement and the wire route before installation.

Spring Park and the riverfront

Spring Park, at 229 Walnut Street, is the city's riverfront park, with a spring-fed pool, a fishing pier, a kayak launch and pavilions along the St. Johns River. The spring run reaches the river about 200 feet away. Next door, the City Pier at 106 Walnut Street has twelve floating slips for visiting boats.

A home on or near the river has a water side as well as a street side. We measure both so you decide which comes first.

The old courthouse and the former air station

The old Clay County Courthouse at 915 Walnut Street was completed in 1889, served the county until 1973 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The former Naval Auxiliary Air Station Green Cove Springs trained pilots during the Second World War and later became Reynolds Industrial Park.

Older homes near the courthouse and newer homes elsewhere in Clay County have very different rooflines. We measure the sections you choose, so the plan fits the house you have.

Historic districts near downtown

A 1989 survey led to two National Register historic districts in Green Cove Springs, with roughly 70 to 75 contributing structures. A National Register listing on its own does not add a city review step, so ask the city's Planning and Zoning office whether your address has any local review before exterior work. We give you the track finish and mounting details either way.
