From St. Augustine customers
“Very professional and amazing results. The house looks great”
Jay Burke · St. Augustine
Google review“Shane installed our lights on both ends of the house and along the front of the house. The lights are amazing, but the install service was amazing times two! We are having some other work done on our house and once that’s finished I will have him install them across the back. I love these lights. I’m also going to get a motion detector.”
Cliff Dickinson · St. Augustine
Google review“We couldn’t be happier with our new outdoor lighting! The team was professional, friendly, and made the whole process so easy from start to finish. The installation is beautiful and really transformed the look of our home at night.”
Tessa Taylor · St. Augustine
Google review· Review excerpt“I called TruLught FL to help get my landscape lights working. Shane answered my call and was out within 24 hours. He and his team showed up early and got right to work. He showed me the broken lights that could not be fixed and recommended a replacement light and replaced them on the spot. He also repaired/serviced other lights. My entire landscape lights are working as if they were brand new. He also showed me his industry leading home accent lighting. These lights can change colors with a touch of a button on the app. He is going to light up my home with the accent lights in 2 weeks.”

Choose the roofline you want to light
On a single-story home like the one above, a front-only plan already covers most of what you see from the street. A two-story home, or a home with a dock or a pool enclosure, usually decides later whether the sides, the patio or the dock belong in the plan.
Front of House
The entry, garage and the peaks you see from the street. The most common starting point.
Front + Sides
Adds the side returns so the lighting wraps the corners instead of stopping at them.
Full House
The whole perimeter, including the back patio and any detached roofline you want lit.
Measured footage, roof height, mounting surfaces and equipment access set the final scope. We also confirm track finish, power, controller placement and the wire route before installation.

The St. Augustine Town Plan Historic District keeps the city's original Spanish colonial street grid, and St. George Street holds one of the highest concentrations of colonial architecture in the city. The district's buildings run from the Spanish colonial period through the Flagler era and the 1920s boom. Construction on the Castillo de San Marcos began in 1672 and finished in 1695.
A home inside one of the city's five historic preservation zoning districts needs a Certificate of Appropriateness for most exterior work. Ask us for the track finish and mounting position before you apply.

Anastasia Island and the coast
The St. Augustine Lighthouse on Anastasia Island was built between 1871 and 1874 and still stands at 100 Red Cox Drive. On the same island, the St. Augustine Amphitheatre sits inside Anastasia State Park, about half a mile from the beach, and is run by a local nonprofit.
Island homes sit close to salt air. Ask us to show you a sheltered spot for the controller and power supply, and we list the exact hardware in your written quote.

Check your historic district status before choosing a finish
The city's architectural guidelines apply inside the HP-1 to HP-5 historic preservation districts and to properties facing HP-1, HP-2 or HP-3, and the Historic Architectural Review Board requires a Certificate of Appropriateness for most work in those districts. We document the track finish, mounting location and wire route for your application. You handle the submission and the approval.

If your home is inside one of the HP-1 to HP-5 districts, or faces HP-1, HP-2 or HP-3, the city's guidelines apply and most exterior work needs a Certificate of Appropriateness. The city makes that call, not us. We give you the track finish, color and mounting details to include in the application.
Yes. You can keep a warm white scene on a schedule and switch to color for a holiday or an event from the app. The color scenes are there when you want them and off when you do not.
It changes where we put the controller and the power supply, which we place in a sheltered spot. The written quote lists the exact hardware for your home and the TruLight warranty terms that come with it.
